Trade Ideas for 07/22/09

We finally got a pullback today, only to see it reversed completely in after-hours trading. Well, the big news is that the market broke above the June high, albeit marginally. And perhaps that was an occasion for some people to take profits, because the day's pullback began soon afterward. I'm not sure what the market has next up its sleeve. It may want to go up a little bit more before it corrects more significantly. Or perhaps today's intraday weakness was a signal that the pullback is just around the corner.

As for our holdings, a nasty open in ANAD really hurt us. And then after we sold near the lows, ANAD went on to close near the high of the day. Well, playing any position now is certainly risky.
